 In
July of 2010, Paul Van Arsdale came back to the Original Dulcimer
Players club FunFest in Evart Michigan. It was his second
visit,
and
this year (with his blessing) I recorded three of the open jams in the
ODPC pavilion.
Since these were jam sessions and not studio recordings, there is a
certain amount of background "commotion" but Paul's playing style comes
through strong and clear.
Take a listen to how Paul plays these great tunes. Relaxed,
fluid, with steady rythm but also with plenty of feeling and
expression. Some are common tunes.... and some are not.
Lets get busy and learn them!
